Scorpio group president Robert Bugbee has had a career-long evolution primarily from a commercial man to a public-company executive, who probably knows investors and ship finance as well as anyone.
He has presided over great successes (the sale of OMI Corp), great disappointments (the struggles of Scorpio Bulkers to date) and another company with great potential that has yet to fully reap its rewards (Scorpio Tankers, the world’s largest products-tanker owner).
