A complex and controversial web of corporate entities linked to former Industrial Carriers Inc (ICI) shareholder Viktor Baranskiy has emerged via Panama Papers.
The database released this week of the corporate registration records of Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca show that the young Ukrainian shipowner’s Vista includes two entities as shareholders: the Weber Foundation and Hachi Holding.
Hachi Holding was already revealed as one of the companies within the web of Baranskiy’s network of companies during US lawsuits over allegations that Odessa-based Vista Shipping was built from the assets that disappeared from bulker operator ICI when it collapsed in 2008.
