Pacific International Lines (PIL) has taken its tally of 11,800-teu boxships on order at a Chinese yard into double figures.

The Singapore-based owner is said to have declared options for four more vessels at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding to take the total to 12.

Deliveries of the latest quartet are slated for between November 2018 and March 2019. They are estimated to be worth in excess of $100m each.
