Mark Edmondson, the marine underwriter of Chubb’s syndicate 1882 at Lloyd’s and who also chairs IUMI’s ocean hull committee, chose the squeezed underwriter image to illustrate that business was still tough, despite being deprived of declaring a 19th year of loss for the hull market.
