The 105,000-dwt Spike (built 2010) was fixed for five years at $11,900 per day, or $18,000 per day on time charter. Bergshav has relet the tanker to Phillips 66 for three years at $25,500 per day.
A limited partnership company set up by Platou Project Finance, involving Bergshav as managing owner with a 25% stake, took the Spike and the 110,000-dwt CV Stealth (built 2005) from Vafias, the latter on a four-year bareboat charter at $10,600 per day.
