Products tanker ton-mile demand is set for the highest growth in a decade with earnings also set for a 10-year high.
Data from Clarksons Platou Securities suggests ton-mile demand will rise by 7% this year, with other factors helping to boost overall demand for the ships by up to 10%. This compares to supply growth of less than 5%.
In a report, analyst Frode Morkedal said products tanker utilisation has passed 90% this year.
