Reports said Statoil had fixed the 5,300–dwt platform supply vessel (PSV) Rem Vision (built 2010), a large modern multifunctional ship, for seven days of supply duties at just NOK 19,500 ($2,607) per day.
This equates to only £1,711 per day. The previous confirmed low had been £2,500 per day in a dire market characterised by a huge over-supply of units and weak demand.
