Golar LNG today celebrated what it hailed as a major milestone in its FLNG strategy.

Tor Olav Troim backed Golar revealed final approval had been secured on its Cameroon project.

A binding tolling agreement between Golar and Perenco was also finalised to free up $700m in liquidity for the conversion of the vessel to serve the project, the 126,227-cbm Hilli (built 1975).
