Shares in Golden Ocean and Safe Bulkers both saw double-digit gains in trading Friday as dry cargo rates rebounded from their all-time lows.
In a shortened trading day due to the US Thanksgiving holidays the John Fredriksen-backed dry bulk owner saw its shares jump 17.6%, while those of safe Bulk rose by 12.6%.
There were also single digit gains for the likes of Scorpio Bulkers, up 8.3%,
