The ship has been anchored at Jade Weser Port in Wilhelmshaven in what was described as an incident free voyage.

On Saturday, the 6,732-teu MSC Flaminia (built 2001) reached an anchorage area off the German island of Heligoland.

German shipowners NSB Niederelbe said the vessel was again inspected and given the all clear to depart on Sunday morning.

“During this inspection it was confirmed that a secure and hazard-free continuation of its voyage to Wilhelmshaven was possible,” NSB said.
