Roger Jones, whose ailing health means he is slowly losing memory of the shipping career he built, still lives in Nassau, where he used to watch cruiseships coming and going. Son Tim even gave him an AIS tracking system a few years ago.
Third son Scott says: “Dad was a prolific reader and writer who used to bring home a stack of shipping magazines and journals.
